  1. The promoter

    This promotion is run by City Rentals Australia Pty Ltd, ABN 50 663 432 942, trading as Legacy Motors, of 1 Price Street, Southport QLD 4215 ("the Promoter").

    Entering means you accept these terms.

  2. Who can enter

    Entry is open to residents of Queensland aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

    Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and the agencies and suppliers associated with this promotion are not eligible.

  3. Entry period

    Entries open at 7:00pm AEST on Thursday 6 August 2026 and close at 5:00pm AEST on Saturday 12 September 2026. Entries received outside that period are not valid.

  4. How to enter

    To enter, you must during the entry period:

    1. follow Legacy Motors on both Instagram (@legacymotorsgc) and Facebook; and
    2. complete the entry form at win.legacymotors.com.au with your name, mobile number, email address and postcode.

    Following both accounts is a condition of a valid entry. The Promoter may verify that the drawn entrant follows both accounts before awarding the prize, and may draw again if they do not.

    One entry per person. Where multiple entries are received from the same person, only the first is counted. Entries that are incomplete, or that the Promoter reasonably believes were generated by automated means, are not valid.

    No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Entry is free, and making a purchase from the Promoter does not improve an entrant's chance of winning.

    Entering means you will receive messages from the Promoter about this promotion, including confirmation of your entry, the result of the draw and your voucher code.

  5. The prize

    There is one major prize: a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee V6 automatic, with an approximate retail value of $12,000.

    The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

    The Promoter provides a Queensland safety certificate (roadworthy) for the vehicle. All other costs of taking ownership are the winner's responsibility, including vehicle registration, registration duty, CTP insurance and the transfer fee. Ongoing costs such as comprehensive insurance, fuel, servicing and maintenance are also the winner's responsibility.

    Depending on the vehicle, these costs are likely to total more than $1,000. The winner should budget for them before accepting the prize.

    The winner must hold a current, valid Australian driver licence to take delivery of the vehicle, and must provide proof of identity and Queensland residency.

  6. The $1,000 voucher

    Every valid entrant also receives a voucher for $1,000 off their next vehicle purchase from the Promoter, on these terms:

    1. the voucher is issued to the named entrant only and is not transferable;
    2. it holds no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged;
    3. it expires on 12 March 2027 and cannot be extended;
    4. one voucher may be used per purchase, and it cannot be combined with any other offer, discount or promotion;
    5. it cannot be applied to the major prize vehicle;
    6. the entrant must present the voucher code and proof of identity at the time of purchase.

    Voucher codes are issued by email on Saturday 12 September 2026.

  7. The draw

    The winner is drawn at random from all valid entries at 1 Price Street, Southport QLD 4215 on Saturday 12 September 2026, during the Promoter's grand opening. The draw is streamed live on the Promoter's Instagram and Facebook accounts.

    You do not need to be present to win.

  8. Winner notification

    The winner is notified by phone and email within two business days of the draw, and their first name and suburb may be announced on the Promoter's social media accounts and website.

    If the winner cannot be contacted, or does not claim the prize, within 14 days of the draw, their entry is forfeited and the Promoter may draw a replacement winner from the remaining valid entries, subject to any applicable law.

  9. Privacy

    The Promoter collects entrants' personal information to run this promotion, contact entrants about it, issue voucher codes and, where permitted, send marketing communications. Information is handled in line with the Promoter's privacy policy.

    You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by contacting the Promoter. Opting out of marketing does not affect the validity of your entry.

  10. General

    The Promoter may amend these terms or cancel the promotion where necessary, including for reasons outside its reasonable control, subject to any applicable law.

    The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received for technical reasons outside its control.

    The Promoter may disqualify any entrant it reasonably believes has breached these terms or interfered with the promotion.

    Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

    This promotion is governed by the laws of Queensland.

  11. Not associated with Meta

    This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Facebook or Instagram. By entering, you release Meta, Facebook and Instagram from any responsibility in connection with this promotion.
